What is photography if not the ultimate time-capturing instrument? What is a photograph if not the identifier of a moment, at least for the button pusher? And what today are our smartphones if not the swiss-army-knife-style digital sharpeners of senses and memory, always at hand to mark the hours, days and months of our lives?

This series of mobile photography captures is my very personal identity of 2018. First images which I took just before the New Year’s Eve in rural Transcarpathia setting are followed by post-party morning reflections and snapshots from my occasional visits to this unique place. Chinese zodiac sign of 2018 is always in the frame or very, very close to it.
